CANNABIS 101

Cannabidiol, aka, CBD, is a compound that comes from the Cannabis Sativa L. plant. Although both hemp and marijuana also come from this plant type and contain cannabidiol compounds, CBD does not cause a “high” or psychoactive effect that is associated with marijuana. CBD does not contain THC. Below are a few definitions to help you understand the science and allow you to understand the ingredients in our products!

CBD oil: Is extracted from the stalks, leaves and buds of the hemp plant. The CBD is extracted through various heat and CO2 process. CBD receptors are involved in a series of processes inside the human body, including the regulation of mood, pain sensation, anti-anxiety and anti-inflammation.
HEMP oil: Is primarily derived from the hemp plant seed. Also contains polyunsaturated fats like Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids, as well as Vitamin E. Hemp is extracted through a cold pressed process. Does not contain THC.

TERPENES: Oils that give cannabis plants and flowers their unique smell. Terpenes originate in the glands of the same plant CBD oil, Hemp oil and THC are derived from. Terpenes act as an assistant to CBD to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. Does not contain THC.
